For 68 years now, the world-famous cheese dairy has been perpetuating the quality of this 16th-century recipe. In addition to AOP Époisses, you can also try IGP soumaintrain, or other cheeses such as trou-du-cru. True symbols of Burgundy's terroir and gastronomy, they are also used in many recipes. Low season: open Tuesday to Saturday, 9:30am to 12:30pm and 2pm to 5pm. High season: Tuesday to Saturday, 9:30am to 12:30pm and 2pm to 6:30pm. High season: May to October. Low season: November to April.
Owner's Message
The nose is strong, with a bouquet of undergrowth. On the palate, the cheese is supple, unctuous and never too strong. The taste is frank, subtle and balanced, with hints of dried fruit. When Epoisses is fully matured, slightly runny, you'll be delighted to taste this inimitable, mature cheese.
