Travel Guide Pariquera-Açu

At the end of the th century, Polish, Italian or German immigrants came to work on the land of this city, founded by the empire to highlight this part of the territory, which was previously reached by water after a long journey. There are now more than 18   400 inhabitants in Pariquera-Açu. Its tradition of hospitality continues and visitors are always received with warmth. The surrounding area abounds in beautiful scenery  : mountains with waterfalls, natural pools and lush vegetation. There is also the Parque Estadual da Campina do Encantado, a reserve of Atlantic forest, known as the magic Forest, with fields of orchids and other wonders of its kind.
