The Lunajero Valley is a subtropical reserve of flora and fauna recognized as a natural protected area since 2009. As you get closer, the vegetation changes and the different minerals give different colors to this landscape of flattened hills and valleys(quebradas) reminiscent of lunar landforms, all in a corridor of tropical forests. The last part of the route is the most difficult, due to the rocks, streams and denser vegetation. Do not miss the waterfall (about 4 meters) of the arroyo Gajo del Lunarejo. It is possible to go hiking and camping in the middle of the nature with a guide.
