In the past, Aboriginal people were housed under the rocky walls on the shores of this cold water lake north of the St. Lawrence River. Then, in the Victorian era, the wealthy cottagers stayed here. The northern rugged landscape marrying the south still attracts hikers and canoes along the scenic shores and winding trails of this park.
