Highway 1 leads there after 20 km, but it is best to continue on 3rd Main Street and Marine Drive (in West Vancouver, coming off the Lions Gate Bridge). This narrow road offers, between the trees and wooden houses, a panoramic and romantic view of the great Vancouver Bay. Horsehoe Bay is best known for housing the ferry terminal leading to Nanaimo on Vancouver Island and the Sunshine Coast. But it is also a charming port village on the waterfront, nestled between spectacular mountains. Restaurants and cafes allow you to enjoy its relaxing atmosphere while watching the boats enter and leave the port.
