Travel Guide Chwanga

About 8 km from Metangula and about 20 minutes drive along the lake from the north, is the beautiful beach of Chwanga. If there is a paradise, it must look like Chwanga beach: red sand, waves, water that remains pleasant in winter, red-skinned mountains covered with a green finery. No need to look for all the shores of the lake, they are invisible on the horizon. And this is what gives it its magical air of a totally calm inland sea.
