Bourglinster is a small municipality administratively attached to Junglinster, less than 4 km to the east. It boasts a beautiful castle, whose earliest foundations date back to the 10th century. Owned by the Luxembourg state since 1968, it now houses a youth hostel and two renowned restaurants: the Michelin-starred La Distillerie and the Brasserie La Côté Cour. Behind these two addresses is chef René Mathieu, voted Chef of the Year 2021 in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg edition of the Gault & Millau gastronomic guide.
