Restaurant located in the center of Beaune offering a home-made seasonal cuisine based on fresh products.

Two employees of the previous Bien et Bon have taken over this pretty snack bar located in the heart of downtown. Its new name Marty Café Cantine evokes a friendly place to take a break during the day, to eat and snack. Every day a new dish, a soup, a salad. You can have a breakfast with omelette, bacon and pancakes or nibble on cookies, crepes and bubble waffles on the sweet side or crepes, burgers, croque-monsieur or madame on the savory side. The non-stop opening is appreciated, simple ingredients to spend greedy moments.

This is a great place to come in Beaune for a quick breakfast or lunch that won’t break the bank. I had a vegetarian quiche at a table inside for less than €5, and as I watched the young staff prepare the dishes I saw them take great care (for example, carefully grating lemon zest onto avocado toast). They also have pastries, hot dogs, salads and other quick things that are good for budget travelers or families with kids.

Impossible d'y manger en plein été, pas de climatisation ni de ventilateur, nous sommes restés assis 2 minutes et avons tourné les talons... La patronne disait qu'ils ne pouvaient pas mettre de clim car la porte était ouverte... Tous les autres magasins/restaurants ont des portes ouvertes et la climatisation.
Tant pis, nous sommes allés donner notre argent à la concurrence.

We enjoyed our breakfast here - had ham and cheese crepes and delicious Pane chocolates (one of the best we have tried in a month in France). The lady who works there was really friendly and efficient but was massively overstretched as seemed to be the only person working there serving 30+ customers so there was a bit of a wait !

came on a Saturday for lunch and was very happy. there was no wait. we were able to secure a table inside out of the heat. server brought us a cold caraf of water before we asked. bathroom was clean. we ordered vegetarian quiche and vegetarian sandwich. but were tasty. the quiche came with a small salad. the veg sandwich was interesting (was on black bread made with squid ink, so cool) it has mushrooms, zucchini, onion, tomato spread, greens, and cheese. I wish it had more greens and cheese though. 13€ for the two lunches, not bad!
