Bistrot Rosette's chic, old-fashioned atmosphere attracts a diverse clientele, from local regulars to epicureans in search of authenticity. It's a haven for scoundrels and nice people, a neighborhood canteen far removed from artifice and overdone places. Here, time seems to stand still, and every moment spent savoring a glass of red wine in a cozy corner or enjoying a deliciously comforting dessert is a pleasant break.

Multiple salad dishes were quite bad, vegetables not at all fresh. Beef Bourguignon was under seasoned, even if tender. Also had a chicken dish (menu du jour) which needs to be fully reinvented - from both a flavor and presentation point of view.
Escargot was good, and the location is good.
