This settlement is known by three names: Gadime e Poshtme/Gadimja e Poshtme or Gadime e Ulët/Gadimja e Ulët in Albanian and Donje Gadimlje/Доње Гадимље in Serbian. It has about 3,000 inhabitants (87% Albanians, 12% Ashkalis) and is 16 km north of Ferizaj/Uroševac, 24 km south of Pristina via the M2.Gadima-le-Bas" is not very interesting, but it is worth visiting the "marble cave", one of the only two caves in the country that are open to visitors, together with the one in Radavc, near Peja/Peć (western Kosovo). On the spot, there are a few restaurants. The village also houses, in the south, a large breccia marble quarry
