Here is a distillery inspired by the rich cultural heritage of the region. Tours are organized to understand the manufacturing process and taste the artisanal production of Takamaka rum. A boutique, a museum and two tasting bars are nestled in La Grande Maison, a superb colonial residence. In the garden, a food truck and a small outdoor bar have been set up for a rather good food on the go. A good idea for a nice visit and a little lunch break under the trees.

Monday to Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Free guided tours at 11am, 1pm and 3pm. Tasting 150 SR per adult.

We invite you to come and sample our range of rums for 150scr per person or enjoy fresh cocktails from the Rum Shack.

From the airport, take the east coast road south for 7km until you see a sign for Takamaka on your right.

Vous y verrez le cycle de fabrication du Rhum mais aussi la superbe maison créole de la plantation et son jardin, qui dit jardin aux Seychelles dit Tortues géantes ... puis la dégustation ou vous pourrez réellement goûter toute leur spécialités coco, ananas, nature, ancien ...(essayez le rhum 69 ! )
On y a passé un bon moment
le restaurant sur place est assez cher aussi.
