Revello, a pretty little town of about 4,200 inhabitants, lies at the foot of the Alps, especially Mount Bracco, which rises to an altitude of over 1,300 metres. It was the favourite holiday resort of Margaret of Foix-Candale, the wife of the Marquis Ludovico II of Saluces. Of the palace and chapel of the marquises, there are still some remains which are accessible to visitors during the opening hours of the town hall. But Revello is today best known for its proximity to the easternmost part of the Po Natural Park. The town is also home to the Park Museum, a must-see for nature lovers.
