Trois-Rives covers an area of 675 km2 and includes three communities: Rivière-Mattawin, Saint-Joseph-de-Mékinac and Grande-Anse. In the heart of an abundant natural environment, outfitters and estates welcome visitors for hunting, fishing and outdoor activities. The Mattawin Adventure Centre is located in this area and offers a wide range of activities in the summer (rafting, canyoning, etc.), not to mention expeditions for the more motivated. From Rivière-Mattawin, a bridge leads to the Saint-Maurice wildlife reserve. Be sure to visit the beach at Lac Normand, considered one of the most beautiful in the province.
