Located about forty kilometres from Ciudad Valles, the Tamul waterfall, with its 105 m height, is the most imposing and the jewel of Huasteca. Reaching a width of 300 metres, the water roars as it falls into a steep canyon whose walls are covered with vegetation. Sometimes during the dry season, the waterfall can nevertheless be drained due to excessive water withdrawals from the sugar cane plantations in the area... There are several camping areas in the area.
