El Faro de Bucerías is ideal for swimming, snorkelling or diving (November to February). Its numerous islets and emerging rocks make it a breeding sanctuary for birds, which can be visited discreetly from March to September; the hinterland also offers some interesting walks. The small wooden buildings that serve as restaurants on the beach will let you camp or stretch out your hammock. A few miles south, don't miss a walk on the deserted beach of La Llorona. Nearby are also the beaches of Manzanillera, Palma Sola and Colorada.
