Colola is a long strip of straight-line sand in the right-hand corner of the Droite and Negra turtles, which is endemic to the Michoacán coast. The Droite and Negra turtles are a long way to go. If they arrive throughout the year, the most important time begins early July until September for the Golfina turtle, and from October to March for the Turtle Negra. There is, of course, a tortuguero campamento where it is possible to spend the night in order to help with the collection of turtles eggs or baby release ($ 600 per room, +52 312 1611 1920). There is another place to spend the night in huts or camping, but much more dilapidated. The visit to Colola can also be done from Maruata.
