Juliasdale is well known in Zimbabwe. On arrival, one wonders why. The village, a few kilometers from Nyanga National Park, has a gas station, a hotel, a small store, a church... and nothing more. On the other hand, the area is very beautiful and there are many hotels and guest houses around. It attracts walkers, birdwatchers and fly fishermen. Juliasdale is located 75 km east of Rusape, the road is well signposted. Bush cabs run from Juliasdale to Rusape, Nyanga and Mutare, and a few chicken buses run between Nyanga and Harare.
