Flessingue, a port town and land of origin of Michiel de Ruyter, was the main port of the East Indies company. The city suffered greatly during the war and even before it was developed according to three axes: port, tourism and industry. These three axes are still well present today and make Flessingue a modern city (mini Rotterdam according to some) with different charm will tell us. We have been much more sensitive to the attractions of Middelbourg and other villages in the province.
