Located 5 km north of the capital, Duklja is known for its Roman village, whose ruins can be visited. Today it is one of the largest archaeological sites in the country, as it houses the remains of one of the most important Roman cities in the region. Even if the vicissitudes of history have caused the disappearance of many ancient buildings, you can admire the traces of a real Roman city. Situated in a green environment, the visit of Duklja represents a nice idea for an escapade outside the Montenegrin capital. But it is a pity that there is no café or store on the site.
