Prijepolje is a small, old town on the Montenegrin border, which is mostly visited because of its strategic position, close to the monasteries of Mileševa and Pustinja. The surrounding countryside is beautiful, at the foot of the Zlatar mountain, the Mileševke nature reserve is not far from the center and the Uvac national park is only a few kilometers away. Prijepolje is surrounded by small mountain rivers which, together with the many waterfalls and impressive natural caves, give the hiker many reasons to stop and marvel. It is a much more authentic (and less expensive) destination than Zlatibor
