Mouila is about 75 km from Ndendé, a drive of more than an hour on the National 1. The town of Ndendé has about 6,300 inhabitants and is the last town before the border with the Republic of Congo. It is the last town before the border with the Republic of Congo. You can buy supplies here, but it is the surrounding area with its caves and lakes that is worth a visit. The locals can tell you which paths lead to the caves and lakes that are easiest to reach. Be careful, the floor of the caves can be muddy and there are many bats (droppings, ticks). The water in the lakes is not suitable for swimming. However, the place is suitable for a pleasant picnic.
