Access to the mountain can be made from Mimongo or Mbigou (or by the "economic" road). Some parts are quite difficult in the rainy season, especially from Mimongo and Mbigou. The best season, as far as road conditions are concerned, is therefore the dry season. However, it is important to know that the wetter the weather, the more life there is in the forest. It is possible to spend the night in the small town of Iboundji, but the quality of the accommodation will not suit everyone. It is therefore advisable to take a tent with you, which can be pitched in the village of Boussimbi, with the agreement of the village chief.
