Travel Guide Puerto Cayo

65 km from Manta. The road climbs up to an area of tropical forest, humid and luxuriant, the crossing of which is often made dangerous by fog. The arrival at the village reveals the serene panorama of a long beach bordering a small fishing port. It stretches nonchalantly along the ocean, and offers to the visitors a quiet halt, in margin of the tourist circuits. Puerto Cayo is an excellent stopover to discover the surroundings of Manta and Puerto Lopez without being in the middle of the crowd of tourists who can sometimes invade the coast, especially on weekends and during school holidays. A very good refuge.
