Travel Guide Déou

Déou is a large village located west of Gorom-Gorom and north of Aribinda, about 60 kilometres away. This small town can be a good stopover if you spend a Saturday, market day. Apart from that, Déou has not yet seen the development of its tourist attractions, hence the lack of hotel infrastructure. The market is perhaps the most authentic there for this reason. For Déou, all the trails are difficult to follow, it is more than recommended to have a local guide with you. On the outskirts of the village, huge rocks create a superb landscape in the Sahelian savannah. For travellers connecting Gandéfabou and Aribinda, Déou will be a landmark village. A police station and a small dispensary.
