This small town is located on Scenic Byway 12 with a population of just 150, five miles south of Tropic at the intersection leading to Kodachrome State Park. The town has a few hotels (including the Grand Stair Case Inn and The Evergreeen) and a RV and tent site with an outdoor pool (Bryce Canyon RV Resort by RJourney). You will also find a visitor center that will provide you with all the information you need for your trip. There is also a small exhibit about the Paiute Indian tribe and the pioneers. Canonville is the western entrance to Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument.
