From Shorzha, in the south, you have to take the road along the northern basin of the lake to reach Tsovagyukh. The road is lined with beaches and creeks at the foot of the mountains, ideal for swimming, as this part of the lake is protected from the wind and the water is warmer (20-22°C in the middle of summer). Tsovagyukh, translating "the village of the sea", deserves this name for being an important fishing village. The village has been transformed, without excess, by tourist activity. It brings the Sevan basin into contact with North Armenia, as it is through this village that the very picturesque road leading to the Sevan Pass and beyond to Dilidjan passes.
