Restaurant-brewery with veranda and terrace in Bruges offering a long menu and local beers.
This-year-old brewery has been christened in honour of the little monkey, which is a throne on its majestic fireplace. Here the decor is another time: bar, stained glass bar, fireplace, all breathe an atmosphere of yesteryear. On Saturday, market day on the Zand, tables are taken by a local clientele. The veranda and terrace wide open on the square are more popular with visitors from the beautiful days. The kitchen is open all day long and the long map includes more or less successful specialities… as well as a selection of some local beers and Trappist. Shame that the reception is so intractable.

Cadre intérieur vraiment beau, la salle intérieure n'est pas très grande mais vraiment belle ! Il y en a une autre en entrant avec un peu moins de cachet, et une petite arrière salle que je n'ai pas visité. Nous y sommes allés à noël, le sapin à coté de la cheminée ( qui flambe ) est magnifique ! Les plafonds, le lustre, les murs, tout est vraiment splendide ! Le service est vraiment agréable, les serveuses souriantes, bref un très bon moment... J'ai pris une cassolette de poisson façon Oostende et je n'ai pas été déçu du tout, d'ailleurs personne ne l'a été ! Les plats sont copieux et très bons... Je recommande !
