Tanuki, when Belgium meets Japan! Chefs Ivan Verhelle and Akihisa Kawakami plunge us into a Japanese atmosphere that is as real as nature itself. Traditional clothes, a magnificent outdoor pool, a zen atmosphere, it is in a large open kitchen that you can see the chefs at work. Sashimi, sushi, tempura, bento, teppanyaki, everything is fresh, homemade and elaborated under your eyes! For the record, the tanuki is a Japanese raccoon considered as a lucky charm, bringing prosperity and fortune.

Tanuki is a Japanese restaurant with a name in a typical setting, located in the center of Bruges, with no less than 30 years of experience. Chef Ivan Verhelle and his second chef Akihisa Kawakami specialize in Japanese cuisine and serve delicious home-made dishes of sashimi, sushi, tempura and teppanyaki. Pure and healthy, an attractive à la carte offer, various menus (also for groups) and take-away dishes. Original!

Bij het binnenkomen had ik al iets van wow dit ziet er zalig uit.
Wij hebben de menu genomen en die was top ! De smaak was top, de bediening was top, en alles was tot in de puntjes verzorgd.
Ook de eigenaar is top en zeer sociaal.
