From Lahti, Road 5 leads to Heinola (19 575 inhabitants) about 30 km from fields and forests. Quite dense traffic on this road also used by trucks. Possibility to reach Heinola by a very popular water in summer. A splendid and varied landscape (4 h by boat and 3 h in hydrofoil).
