DOMAINE DE LA COURTADE
A 35-hectare estate that has been organically farmed since 1997 and produces AOP Côtes de Provence wines in all three colors
Just a ten-minute walk from the port, this 35-hectare estate is the result of a happy meeting between industrialist Henri Vidal, a lover of the island, and Alsatian oenologist Richard Auther, the son of a winegrower. In 2015, Florent Audibert took over the running of the estate, and has since been working brilliantly to move the domaine's wines upmarket. The mourvèdre-dominated vineyard, which has just been awarded the Esprit Parc National label, is cultivated using organic methods and has produced two cuvées, La Courtade and Alycastre, which sell worldwide.
