Sempach is a charming little town on the shores of the lake of the same name. With a population of over 4,100, this Swiss community is well worth a visit, particularly for its medieval center. You'll discover the Witches' Tower, the handsome town hall, the Baseltor, a vestige of the town's ramparts, and the many houses in the main street with their typical mullioned windows.
