Located 5 km west of Hajnówka, on the old Tsar Road (Carska Droga) between Hajnówka and Bielsk Podlask, the village of Nowoberezowo is home to a traditional farmhouse. A veritable open-air museum, it evokes village life at the turn of the century, showcasing the architecture, furniture and everyday tools used at the time. Don't be surprised if a few ostriches from the owner's farm come up to greet you. In the village's main street, you'll find two Orthodox churches and a small chapel. Other treasures to discover include the two Orthodox cemeteries in the village.
