The track leading to the village of Nano is about 12 km from Dapaong, in the direction of Mango and Kara. Also called Nagou, the village is known because it is located near the Nok and Mamproug caves and granaries, which are on the list of proposed UNESCO World Heritage Sites. From the road crisscrossing traditional villages and fields to the caves, this visit is a must in the north. The village being in altitude and remote, do not hesitate to bring water bottles, cakes or preserves, to thank the inhabitants for their welcome. A lively market is held every Thursday and Sunday.
