This small village lies 60 km north of the town of Nan. Inhabited mainly by the Taï-Lü ethnic group, it offers a pleasant break on the road to Sapan. This community has several shops on site. The Ban Tai Lue Cafe is well worth a visit. It's a large establishment with traditional wooden architecture and a superb view of the mountains and rice paddies. It sells drinks, traditional products and fabrics and clothing. For a bite to eat, visit the nearby Kaosoi Tailue. And don't forget to stop off at Wat Phu Ket, which also offers a breathtaking panorama.
