Mountains, alpine pastures, greenery under a blue sky - Nenzing, a picturesque village in the Walgau region at 533 m altitude at the foot of the Rätikon massif, known as the "Nenzinger Himmel" (Nenzing sky), is an attractive place. Nearby Gurtis, at 904 m altitude, bears a certain resemblance to its cousin, to which it is administratively dependent. A few idyllic walks, a mountain with a small lake surrounded by greenery, a church tower emerging from the winter whiteness, good dairy cows starring in front of a mountain hut... That's Nenzing.
