Pretty common in the valley of Saalach. See the parish church and the high column in the plague epidemic, the Pestsäule, the oldest monument of the genus (1564) in the Salzburgerland. The fortress Pass Strub (1809), a former border defence with Tyrol, was rebuilt in the years 1983-1984. Close to Saint Martin, the famous church of Pilgrimage Maria Kirchenthal was built according to the plans of Fischer von Erlach. The church, which owes its fame to a miraculous image of the Virgin (th century), has the largest collection of ex-voto of Austria. You can access it through a toll road.
