Charming little village 10 km from Banská Bystrica on the road to Zvolen. Its wooden Protestant temple, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, was built in the 18th century according to the strict rules of the time, i.e. on a plot of land on the edge of the village, in wood, without towers, without nails and completed in one year (between 1725 and 1726). Its visit is a must The easiest way is to take the train from the central station or from the small station in the center of Banská Bystrica Mesto, on average one train every hour (14 minutes, 11 km, 0,68 €). Alternatively, there are a dozen daily direct buses from Banská Bystrica (20 minutes, 9 km, €0.75).
