Known for its production of ceramics, this city of over 24,900 inhabitants is dominated by a ruined castle. The Arabs called it "the castle of three hundred towers". In the heart of its historic center, you can enjoy the Plaza del Almudín, a magnificent medieval square. Also to be seen in the casco antiguo, the church of the Blood, the Moreira neighborhood, the Plaza de la Sinagoga and the stairs of the gats (cats) leading to the castle.
