At Francesco's, the cichetti are different from one day to the next as the imagination of the owner seems infinite. With castraure (local artichokes), moscardini (small octopus), smoked salmon, melon ham and more, the choice is endless depending on the season and the market arrivals. The goat cheese crostini (small sandwiches) are simply delicious and the prosecco never alters your desire to keep tasting everything. Most certainly one of the best cichetti addresses in the city.

Since 1890, the Rizzo house has been delighting young and old with its wood-fired pizzas. This address takes care of the cooking and selects products from the Italian soil. Result: the pizzas are fine, crisp and well topped, and people love them. Great and famous pizza classics are invited to the counter with vegetables, raw ham, mushrooms, bufala PDO, ricotta cheese or fresh tomatoes: all ingredients prepared with love. If you're still hungry after that, there are also salads and bakery specialties.

Just behind the Rialto, here is one of the best addresses in town to eat a slice of pizza with a lot of filling to munch on the go. About thirty assortments (but only 6 or 7 offered per day), whole or by the slice, thin or thick dough... Make your choice: mushrooms, salami, arugula, buffalo mozzarella, ham, bell pepper, basil... The store doesn't look like much, but the line that forms in front of it every day at noon shows how much the locals like it. On the spot or to take away!

Cavatappi means "corkscrew" in Italian, as evidenced by the improbable exhibition that adorns the walls of this restaurant-wine bar located in the center of San Marco. Come in, it's open! The canteen is simple and the place is well kept. One comes there as well to pass frankly to table as for a simple aperitif. Until 5 pm, the primi are in the spotlight and you can taste all kinds of Italian cheeses and wines, without forgetting some tasty homemade cicchetti .

The hours seem to be adjusted according to the influx of customers. In a beautiful decor of white walls and dark wood, very well thought out, one can taste at La Cantina almost the best panini of Venice prepared to measure, but also lasagna, carpaccios and good salads, with a glass of wine or a cocktail, a Bellini or a Pina colada among others. The service is pleasant and the jazz soundtrack cultivates this atmosphere. You could spend entire afternoons here, but the call of shopping in Cannaregio is irresistible..

This restaurant has been run since 1971 by a very nice man from Puglia (which is why he is called il nonno pugliese). Despite the owner's origins, the atmosphere is very Venetian. In summer, the restaurant and bar are frequented by students and their teachers who enjoy the small terrace. The restaurant continues to offer traditional Venetian dishes in an authenticosteria atmosphere: bigoli in sauce, veal liver Venetian style, sardines " in saor ", cuttlefish with polenta, etc.

Excellent buffet of cichetti frequented by many Venetian people. The panini are naturally made on site (those with grilled zucchini and peppers are excellent) and you can also count on a good salad and the eternal tramezzini.

At the other end of the bridge facing the Basilica dei Frari, here is the bar l'Archivio, friendly and nice. The decor is a curious mix of genres: an old-fashioned frame, colorful neon lights hanging from the bar, green benches and wooden tables in the room. You will also notice the collection of banknotes from all over the world, all hanging on the zinc.
