The restaurants of the actor and comedian Pietro Chiambretti and his company Food & Company almost never disappoint. Here is one which has an exceptional frame, under the Galleria Subalpina, in the corner with Piazza Castello. The original cuisine offers Piedmontese dishes as well as Japanese sushi. It is one of the restaurants of actor Piero Chiambretti, who is well known in Italy for his ironic treatment of politics. The restaurant picks up the style of its creator: a lot of humor and love at the right table. The restaurant pays special tribute to the true Neapolitan pizza. The rest of the kitchen follows the flavours of the Mediterranean (specialty: mussels, cozze in Italian).

In the heart of the Romano Romano, this stylish, contemporary restaurant with a refined garden and soft lighting offers a large, traditional pizza card. However, some freedoms are taken: pizzas with exotic guaranteed flavours.

This is a stunning Siberian atmosphere in the heart of the Romano Romano. A stone decor and brick, and a fireplace, provide a few small wooden tables that are illuminated. The specialty is sibir: a hot board to cook meat, fish and vegetables that you choose yourself at will. But the map of Russian specialities is long: salmon and blinis, smoked herring, smétana sauce and of course vodka to all sauces.

FIAT, or Fate Infretta A Tavola (which could be translated as: hurry up and eat!). The tone is of course ironic and mocking in this osteria, symbol of the Lingotto district. Local workers and civil servants come here to have a bite to eat at noon, so the service is very quick. Nevertheless, the dishes remain very good and the prices more than correct. On the walls, photos, newspaper articles and old advertisements tell the story of the famous Italian car brand and the city of Turin associated with it.

Scannabue is at the top of the list of restaurants currently in vogue in the Piedmontese capital and has plenty to defend its cause. In the heart of the cool San Salvario district, the successful setting of the venue oscillates between that of a Parisian bistro and that of an English club. Leather, wood, mirrors, zinc and bottles surround the small tables with green tablecloths, close together. Very fresh, the raw materials selected in the kitchen make up regional dishes without reproach. Wine list to match the cuisine.

The brainchild of actor Piero Chiambretti, the Sfashion Café is a bar-restaurant-pizzeria with a vintage, film-themed decor. Inside, you'll find a colorful, ironic atmosphere, where at lunch and dinner you can feast on tramezzini, brioche, pizzas and mussels (the specialty) under the gaze of a portrait of the imposing Sweet Agatha. The cuisine is Neapolitan-influenced, with pizzas taking pride of place - and they're delicious! The summer terrace is just as lively, overlooking the beautiful Piazza Carlo Alberto.

The Ettore Fico Museum is just around the corner. In the minds of its founders, it's a social hub, a place where people can get together over a drink or a meal to make plans, work, create... Birrificio, birreria, cafeteria, pub, restaurant, brasserie, cocktail bar: various indoor and outdoor spaces offer the opportunity to enjoy modern dishes adapted to different dietary intolerances and preferences. EDIT also produces its own beers, all unfiltered and unpasteurized.

"Life's too short to drink and eat badly": that's the philosophy behind this "hamburgerie" owned by quality food giant Eataly. The food on offer is the same as that found in chain fast-food restaurants: burger, cheeseburger, fries and hotdogs to eat in or take away, but the result is quite different... The beef is real Piedmontese beef, the fries are made from real potatoes, finely cut and fried in good oil, the hotdog is made from pure pork meat, etc.

Located in the newly built J Hotel of Juventus, the Tàola Restaurant offers a modern cuisine that skillfully combines international touches and elements of traditional Piedmontese cuisine. The varied menu allows you to discover the great classics and authentic recipes in a culinary journey in search of traditional flavors. The presentation is elegant and perfectly matches the setting. At lunchtime, it is a popular place for businessmen, football fans and tourists with a passion for design.

Barely outside the centre, but just a few steps from the Mole Antonelliana, here is a charming, friendly, welcoming and somewhat romantic restaurant. The exposed brick ceilings give a country feel, but the kitchen is far from rustic. To whet the appetite, small salty appetizers start by putting you in a good mood. Agnolotti, codfish with polenta and all the classics of Piedmontese cuisine cooked with care follow each other naturally throughout your meal. The menu changes every season, one more reason to come back!

Ideally located in Piazza Vittorio Veneto, Il Tabisca offers excellent pizzas served on a wooden board with unrefined flour, which is easier to digest, as well as many Piedmontese and Sicilian gastronomic proposals. On the Piedmont side, a selection of mountain cheeses, typical cold cuts, traditional pasta(agnolotti, gnocchi...) and on the Sicilian side fresh fish: Beccafico sardines, moure alla messinese, pasta, tempura... A wide range of artisanal beers to accompany it all!

Exceptional position for this restaurant of Piedmontese specialities, overlooking Piazza Vittorio Veneto, just at the mouth of Via Po. It takes its name from the fact that it was from here that the couriers that linked Turin to Savona, a port that was very important for the city at the time, left. The interior is characteristic with its old brewery look, but it is the terrace that we prefer, to taste a trout with hazelnuts and a chocolate bunet (kind of sausage) while contemplating in the distance the church of the Gran Madre di Dio.

In the heart of Turin's chic center, the decor of this small, long pizzeria is a little out of place... Here you can eat small pizze al tegamino, a Turin speciality of pizza cooked in a pan, at very low prices, and other economical dishes such as farinata (chickpea pancake), soft and tasty, sausages served with beans... While you're waiting to be served, take a look at the old posters featuring Snow White's seven dwarfs.
