GOOD MORNING SAIGON
The ideal place for Asian cravings at less cost. This small restaurant next to the university does not pay a mine at first. Lost in the middle of many schools of snacking stormed at noon by the students of Fribourg, it could quickly pass unnoticed (especially given the number of Asian street shops proposed by the city). We're on a real good address when it comes to eating on the thumb for cheap, in our best sense. Inside, the decoration has nothing to do with modern and design, miles from the traditional Asian kitsch. You are immediately tempted to sit at one of the tables in the small room. However, almost all proposals are available to take. You can choose the stars of the establishment: Vietnamese sandwiches (Dau mi), pancakes with rice flour (Dau xeo) and rolls of rice (Gio cuon), but also soups, nems, and various meat and fish in sauce accompanied by rice or skipped noodles. The proposal is not huge (for an Asian restaurant), focusing on Vietnamese dishes exclusively, which is often a guarantee of freshness and quality. And that is the case! For less than 8 €, you will be served dishes combining quantity and quality. It's cool, well cooked. The service is not the most smiling but it has the advantage of being fast and efficient. Here, we order and stick to the counter at the entrance. If you eat on the spot, you're thinking of
