A few kilometers from Aljezur, the small fishing village of Monte Clérigo was built as close as possible to the sea, on a cliff face. And with good reason: it still governs the lives of its inhabitants. Opposite the village, an 8-kilometre stretch of sand stretches northwards, a real treat for cooling off in summer. In spring, the beach is covered with multicolored flowers, making the landscape even more breathtaking. Waves of varying heights and strength delight both amateur and experienced surfers.
