PRAIA DA ARRIFANA
Read moreWedged between two large black cliffs, this superb beach extends for at least 300 m, like a creek whose size would have been indefinitely extended. It is nevertheless narrow, blocked between the waves that lick it and a large cliff, closed by a large stone needle. It is one of the local people's favourite places to come and sunbathe. Exceptional spot reserved for very good surfers. On the heights, the ruins of the Arrifana fort offer a breathtaking and unforgettable view. A magical beach.

MOORISH CASTLE
Read moreIt is obvious that it was not built there by chance. Older civilizations had already chosen this site as a strategic military point. The first traces would even go back to the Iron Age, around 1100 BC. Two towers still stand and mark the end of a long wall that has hardly been altered since its construction. Inside, we can see an Arabic cistern. If some effort is required to achieve this, the beautiful view from the heights is the right reward.
