Machimbombo, opening in 2019 at 87 Calçada do Combro in Bica, takes its name from an ancient funicular that once linked the Basilica da Estrela to the Largo de Camões, and which one day ceased to operate in this very spot. This colorful bar, dominated by pink and a bright yellow sign, offers local beers, wines and house cocktails made with seasonal ingredients. On the program: sets of soul, funk and Latin rhythms to keep you dancing until late in a festive and friendly atmosphere, a reflection of this emblematic and unique place.
