This bar-restaurant is very well known to the people of Lisbon because for a long time (since the 1940s) it has been a welcoming bar for artists and musicians from all over the world (Louis Armstrong...). Today, rock, funk, jazz and reggae bands perform on its small stage under the vault of the bandas... From 11pm onwards, in an almost religious atmosphere, you can listen to a few hits from mythical bands. Another complementary option: come and eat there, a traditional Portuguese cuisine with specialities such as feijoada a transmontahna. In the heart of the city, rather good reputation.
