TEATRO DO BAIRRO
Easy to spot with its large doors adorned with street art frescoes that change every year, it's located in one of the "quiet" streets of Bairro Alto. Inaugurated in the former printing works of the Diário Popular newspaper, it favours a variety of artistic expressions: theater, dance, cinema... Good point too for the music, as some evenings are programmed by serious and historic players in the capital: Mesa de Frades (fado), B.Leza (Cape Verdean and African sound), Hote Clube Portugal (jazz) but also DJ sets.
