How to classify this alternative space, which offers one of the finest views of Lisbon and the Tagus River? For almost 40 years, the Chapitô has been home to a circus school (and performative arts in general) with a social vocation. At Le Chapitô, it's often possible to see students training or performing (many evenings, on the terrace, they present their performances while passing the hat). Le Chapitô is also a bar (le Bartô), on the site of an old wash-house. A very special place in the heart of Lisbon.
