Hotel offering classic or chic design rooms, rather large and refined, at reasonable prices.

This former seventeenth-century convent, converted into a boarding house in the nineteenth century, remains one of the most charming boutique hotels in Lisbon. The truly magical setting includes 32 classic or chic design rooms, rather spacious and refined, served by long vaulted corridors furnished with beautiful antique furniture. Elegant in its sober simplicity, relatively reasonable in its price range, the establishment (with an author's restaurant with Portuguese flavours and a charming interior garden) reserves a precious moment. Very good reception, smiling and attentive.

Hier vorige week 3 nachten verbleven. Dit is geen 4-sterrenhotel naar mijn ervaring Kamer was behoorlijk gedateerd, badkamer ook; vergane glorie. De patio is erg mooi, de lokatie is prima gelegen in een oud klooster, veel restaurantjes in de directe omgeving Wel veel trappen lopen bij het in en uitgaan van het hotel dus niet geschikt voor minder-validen, er is geen lift. Ontbijt was prima, er is geen koffiemachine met melkopschuimer voor bijvoorbeeld cappuccino of latte aanwezig. Bij de receptie spreekt men niet erg goed Engels, en wat we vervelend vonden was dat de portier op onze laatste nacht daar ‘s avonds laat met een collega langere tijd nogal luid aan het praten en lachen was waardoor wij niet konden slapen en we hen erop moesten aanspreken. Excuses werden niet gemaakt.

At best this is a 3 star hotel, and you can make an argument for 2.

I am here during the winter when there's a slight warm streak. The rooms are very hot (25C+) and there's no AC or fans to use. The rooms are small and just passable.
