In a welcoming, traditional village-style setting, come and taste Alentejo cuisine that smacks of its peasant origins: cold meats and cheeses, soups and açordas, migas with pork, hare with beans... Not forgetting the region's famous southern sweets: pão de rala, encharcada de ovos, bolo rançoso and sericaia de Elvas (you know, with candied greengage on top). All in all, good, nutritious food. Friendly, welcoming service. An address for those who want to discover regional cuisine.
