Located in the municipality of Laren, an hour from Amsterdam, the Singer Laren Museum is an excellent option for a cultural outing outside the city. It's a cultural space consisting of a theater, a beautiful sculpture garden and a museum, all surrounded by pleasant natural surroundings. The permanent exhibition houses the collection of Anna and William Singer, who founded the place at the beginning of the last century, as well as a fine selection of Dutch works, notably neo-impressionist, pointillist and cubist.

Owner's Message
The museum's exhibitions change several times a year. The Singer collection contains artworks from the period 1880-1950 by artists such as Anton Mauve, Jan Sluijters, Kees van Dongen, Leo Gestel and Bart van der Leck. The collection also contains sculptures, including seven sculptures by Auguste Rodin. Singer Laren has the largest collection of this artist in the Netherlands, the highlight of which is The Thinker.
